FIRAS approved passive fire installer
FIRAS is the third-party certification scheme run by warringtonfire for the passive fire protection industry. It covers the installation of fire-stopping, fire doors, fire-rated walls and floors, compartmentation and barriers — the parts of the building that contain a fire long enough for everyone to get out. Gemini AMPM holds FIRAS approval, with each engineer carded individually.
- Fire stopping — sealing penetrations in compartment walls and floors with tested, certificated systems
- Fire doors — supply, install, inspect and maintain to BS 8214 / BS EN 1634
