NSI Gold approved security installer

NSI Gold is the highest tier of the National Security Inspectorate's installer approval scheme — a UKAS-accredited certification covering quality management (ISO 9001), product compliance and the technical standards for each security service we install. Gemini AMPM is NSI Gold approved across intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and monitored security systems.

What it covers
  • Intruder alarms to BS EN 50131 grades 2 and 3 with PD 6662 + BS 8243 (sequential confirmation, ARC-monitored signalling)
  • CCTV to BS EN 62676 series, including operational requirements and image quality
  • Access control to BS EN 60839-11
  • Detector-Activated CCTV (DA-CCTV) under BS 8418, for monitored visual verification
  • Police and Fire & Rescue Service response confirmation per the relevant force/brigade requirements
  • Annually audited Quality Management System under ISO 9001 — the gating step between Bronze, Silver and Gold
What it means for clients

Why this matters
on a real job.

NSI Gold is the spec-line a security buyer reaches for when the police-response or insurance terms require a third-party-approved installer. Most commercial insurance policies for unmanned premises require systems installed by NSI Gold (or SSAIB Gold equivalent). Police response in most UK forces requires an Alarm Receiving Centre, NSI Gold signalling, and a URN — the chain of approvals starts here.
